This woman is totally prepared for Christmas. Only problem… it’s October.
(submitted by Jennifer)
Was she trying to make her hair look like the tree?
now here’s something i bet you’ve never seen in your life! it’s called a christmas tree…
triple threat, she can do hair, make-up and cook.
Maybe Marney the manniquin? She looks fake to me.
THE TURTLE NECK AND VEST…MY AUNTIE STILL WEARS THOSE!!!!!
She reminds me of that guy from Little Britain.
What is up with the tree? At the top it looks like a real tree. But did anyone notice the bottom of the tree? It looks like it’s a paper cut-out. I can’t figure out the puzzle of the tree!
The part that looks cut out is actually a chair. Look closely at the “cut-out’s” right side, and you’ll see the seam/piping of the chair.
The best comment is from Awkward Turtle on October 14. If only y’all could know this fabulous gal like I do.
Isn’t this the cover of the new Stevie Nicks Christmas album?
There’s LITERALLY so much I could say. So much.
I don’t really see the whole awkward thing in this picture, compared to the others on this site.
Long time lurker- first time commenter. This site is so funny and I can’t hold back the comments any longer! She looks like a teacher. I taught 6th grade in ’91 (in Texas), and she could’ve been one of my colleagues. Perhaps those are cds in the background (instead of dvds). Those items on the bottom shelf look like VHS.
Ill pass on the cookies but Ill have some of that congnac shes advertising
I really hope she sprayed her hair before she made the cookies! Nothing says Christmas like a mouth full of Aqua Net
Do NOT eat those cookies!!!! Her eyes are glowing red!!!!! Worse than that, she’s wearing a holiday vest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EEEEEEEEEK!!!!!!!!
Christmas at Stevie Nicks house – 2019.
“Just like a white-winged dove…”
Kristen is right. The disposable gladware makes this picture fairly recent. I’m guessing she’s a Texan. Big hair proudly lives and thrives in Texas.
I still think blondes with big hair are SEXY!!!
Bring back my 80′s!!!!!!!!!!!!!
only five years? I remember using those for my lunch in grade five. That was 11 years ago.
I was just going to say…so proud of your cookies that you can’t even put them on a nice plate? Didn’t think it through too much…
considering she has snowflakes on her turtleneck, snowflakes and panda bears on her vest, and the most tricked-out xmas tree ever, those cookies are seriously disappointing… did she run out of red and green sprinkles? no rice krispie wreathes? no tree-shaped sugar cookies? i feel kind of robbed…
Great point! The cookies just aren’t what they should be considering…
I’m not even sure this is a real person, she looks like one of those fake plastic people you get to put in store windows, you like a life size 90s barbie
Me thinks she’s been in the Cognac she is advertising on the wall
I bet Christmas at this woman’s house is awesome. Enormous spread of homemade dishes, lots of laughter and Christmas music, and probably some cognac with dessert. Let’s just hope she never stands too close to the hot Christmas lights with that hair.
Frozen smile, medicated looking eyes, shiny face…..she must be auditioning for Madame Tusseau’s Wax Museum.
True, that’s exactly what I was thinking.
“Care for a large container of awkward?”
Does anyone notice that the bottom of the Gladware container looks frosty? I think she froze last years leftover Christmas cookies and is showing everyone they are still ggod.
I think it’s just wax paper. You can see the creases and how it’s separate from the container itself.
So totally agree, it’s Marjorie!
Side note, I use to work in a store that sold that exact congac print and it was only a year and a half – two years ago.
That was what I was thinking! It doesn’t actually look like it is ’80, except for her hair!
Let’s hear it for AquaNet! Woohoo! Probably a good things the picture wasn’t taken in front of the fireplace.
Yes, but this was the audition photo she sent to be a presenter on QVC.
Looks more like “Care for some half-eaten picked over cookies that no one else wanted?”
