funny how people jump to the photoshop conclusion. Souvenir photos have been around a long time before photoshop. Definitely a fun photo for the family on vacation. I love how they all made the expressions.
Obviously, it’s done in front of a backdrop and and the people weren’t actually going over Niagara Falls in a barrel. The previous comments are just funny replies to the picture and not factual statements. They are just playing on all of the accusations made against most pictures being photoshopped.
I think the comments are hilarious but you loose a lot of the humor when you have to explain the joke to someone. This is sarcasm.

I have to say, though: I’m a bit disappointed in Mom’s lack of commitment to the illusion. I would have believed, if I didn’t see her shirt peeking out of the side of the barrel!! A little photoshopping would have been acceptable in this case.

My thought exactly. There’s some fuzziness around the bottom of the barrel. Not a professional photoshop job like the other photos.
