According to Carolyn, that’s where the candy went.

Oh, this gives a whole new meaning to Trick or Treat – imagine what she could pull out from inside her costume!

  2. Melody says:

    Love the silver clothes-pin handle.

  3. renee says:

    LOLOLOL!!! *dead*

  4. TD says:

Pooor girl! Who wants to snack out of the dumper?

  5. Suki says:

i love it. i know why she’s wearing the mask, to protect her idenity.

  6. Mike Daniels says:

    Is that a low-flo?

  7. Lucy says:

That costume is just crappy. Sorry…couldn’t resist.

  8. Lucy says:

    She’s ready for a Halloween Potty. :)

  9. Lucy says:

She looks a little flushed. This is too easy.

  10. zhoen says:

    That is a GREAT costume.

  11. Ken says:

Well, it’s actually a pretty clever costume and I would hope that the actual toilet bowl was not previously used for anything…. but then again it’s also too bad that this is… PHOTOSHOPPED!!! (I have to say that first since there will be some yahoo worried about the photo being photoshopped when it’s not photoshopped… or it really is photoshopped but no one really gives a rat’s butt because this supposed to be humor, not something you take so seriously that you give some long ass reason why the photo is photoshopped… wow I’m really glad I got that off my chest.)

    • Laura says:

      LOL- agreed

    • Liz says:

This is my cousin. It is definitely not photoshopped! My aunt looked long and hard for this photo last week for her to post.

Once when my aunt visited us, she and my mother hid my Easter candy in my dollhouse. They hid a brown jellybean in the toilet. As you can see, our family has a tradition of holiday toilet humor. I have no idea why!

  12. Julie says:

That is actually a super clever costume idea!

  13. Blucat says:

There was a girl in our neighborhood who dressed up as a toilet one Halloween about 15 years ago. Her version was actually better than this one. We still have her picture in our photo album, and still talk about it to this day.

  14. Anna Rexia says:

This is one way to keep others from sneaking candy away from her.

  15. Alli says:

Caroline later grew up to be a plumber…following in dad’s footsteps….

Seriously though, why would a kid chose to be a toilet? what did the rest of the family go as?

  16. Angela A says:

    hahah. BEST COSTUME EVAH!!!!

  17. michelle says:

I love the belt around the base of the toilet.

  18. terlet says:

Just to ameliorate any concerns re: cleanliness – the toilet part was my brother’s old potty chair, BLEACHED thoroughly, and the “pan” was not used. There was actually a plastic bag inside there for the candy.

    • tanyaya says:

i am officially ameliorated now :-)

just wondering – were you a willing participant? you look like you were having a ball – good for you !!

the main awkward thing in this pic is the wallpaper on the wall behind you i think!

      • ElKev says:

Actually, you’re wrong. The main awkward thing is not the wallpaper. It’s the Unicef box. Isn’t Unicef a charity? And now they’re going in the toilet?

    • carol says:

You had a very clever mom! Or dad, or whoever put this together!

    • Les says:

I’m jealous, all I ever got to be was a princess or a goblin.

Did you make a swirling-gurgling noise when the candy went in?

  19. Adrienne says:

    That must have been heavy!

  20. jase says:

A toilet? Who goes as a toilet? Now a urinal I could see…

Donate to UNICEF and watch your money go right down the toilet!

  28. ox says:

    Great costume!!!

now I have to say it…ty D bowl to the rescue!

  29. This is kind of awesome. I probably would have gone sans mask, but if you want an incognito toilet look, this is the way to go. Add some TP on one hand and you are golden.

    • terlet says:

I don’t remember why I thought I needed the mask. Nor do I remember it being so HUGE.

I guess I just felt like a halloween costume wasn’t complete without one. Please note the eyelashes that I drew on the mask with a ball point pen for extra dazzle.

  30. Seona says:

Cute costume and extra points for trick-or-treating for UNICEF! I used to do that too!

  31. Jeff B. says:

  38. Keri says:

How dare she ask people to throw money down the crapper like that.

  39. Sarah says:

I love it!! THIS is a Halloween costume…not that cheap pre-made character crap you buy at the store.

  40. Psych Syke says:

What’s with the UNICEF collection box??

    • Andy says:

They still do this. My son got one this year from school and took it with him as he trick-or-treated. In addition to candy, he raised almost $20 to help feed the poor.

  41. Alekx says:

    Shoulda been called “Candy Bowel”

  42. Shelley says:

I also dressed up as a toilet once. It was so much fun to see and hear everyone’s reaction. Mine was very similar only I had a small Kleenex box glued to one shoulder and an air freshener aeresol can on the other. I got the idea from the movie “The Karate Kid” when “Daniel” dressed up as a shower for a costume party. I didn’t want to do that so I guess I thought I was doing the next best thing!!! It was such a hit that I did it years later for a teenage Halloween party too!!!

  43. K80 says:

I had a friend who dressed up as a toilet for Halloween once! I think it was the year a bunch of us all dressed up as something odd – I went as a radio, another friend went as a tennis shoe. We had a lot of fun! I always liked the toilet costume, though. I wonder if this one “flushed”, too. (My friend’s dad had rigged hers so that when you pressed the handle a little trap door gave way and the candy “flushed” into a bag hidden in the base).

  44. Nicole says:

heyy thats a unicef box. We have them at our school for key club. dangg those were still around then? ahha

  45. grannypanties says:
