This tree is definitely giving more than it’s receiving.

Our neighbors…and this is what we experienced every time we went out to our pool to swim. The skinny dipping abruptly came to an end.
… and they say babies can’t climb trees.
I would like to know how they got down safely? yikes. Cute family though.
I wonder how long it took all of them to get up there.
I figured it was a bunch of missionaries with some native people, which would explain the socks/sandals. Nothing can account for the baby, though; even Mom looks like she had second thoughts on that one. “Okay, everyone lean a little to the left … “
“When the bough breaks the cradle will fall and down will come baby, cradle, and Mom & Dad, Grandma & Grandpa, three aunties, five uncles, and all!”
For the win!
I’m curious, how high up is that branch?
This takes “family tree” to a whole new level
There’s only one branch on this family tree!
“Creek,crackle,SNAP”
Relax, everyone… the baby’s down! I’m more concerned about the family’s affinity for the black sock/brown shoe combo. And sandals??? That baby has more awkward things to worry about than whether or not he was once momentarily in danger of falling out of a tree.
They are all very tall and mom looks hot for having 7 – 9 kids. I do not blame dad for grabbing her butt.
You gotta be kidding me! All of you who are more concerned about the guy grabbing some butt really have me confused. GET THAT BABY DOWN!!
I’m sure one of them was feeling some bark induced crotch burn.
BEST. PHOTO. EVER.
” Thank you for calling Greentree Industries. Your call is important to us,please hold while we transfer you to our staff in the branch office”
FTW!
“Crrrrr….ACK!”
It’s a nice happy family but they dont appear to be very bright.
That poor limb.
7 guys say 145lb[give or take] =1015
5 gals say 115= 575
baby 20 lbs
grand total 1610 lbs now that would make me worry safety-wise.
Now if they are only a foot off the ground then nev’mind. But the angle of the picture and the way their feet are dangling it seems like they are much higher up.
Now if the photographer is laying on the ground to give the *feeling* they are way high up in the air then all bets are off and I’ll shuddup and go back to my corner and knit
And yay for Paw to be caught patting Maws “dairy air” hee
Mr. and Mrs. Keebler ain’t just baking cookies …
I know this tree. It is a very nice tree.
At first I thought it was taken in a studio or photoshopped.
But now I’m sure it’s the tree. And yes, it is a very happy tree.
haha this tree has a lot of fans!!
I may be going out on a limb here, but that looks awkward!
LOVE the butt scoop–that is romance, right there
Uh I would never take my baby for a photo up a tree.. So dangerous. I really don’t care for this photo op either! I mean look we are climbing a tree to take a picture yay! lol
how’d they get the baby up there? and climbing UP a tree is a whole lot easier than getting down..i’d like to see a pic of that
Is anyone besides me worried about that baby? and I would have liked to see them all climb that tree!
I’m worried about the baby, too! Maybe he was photoshopped in…:)
I’m worried about the baby too. I’m afraid the branch is going to break. The adults know the risk but the baby doesn’t.
Uh Yes I’m seriously worried about the baby! What were they thinking?
Why worry? The branch is only 12″ from the ground.
Oops, sorry I misspelled your name, Britney.
Brittany, it’s a reference to a kids’ book called “The Giving Tree” by Shel Silverstein.
It’s definitely an AFP moment. But if you hear cracking sounds, get out the video camera, ’cause you’re about to have an AFV moment.
this must have been the photographer’s rage for a while because I’ve seen a few of these photos. thank goodness it wasn’t popular in our area.
No, not popular – poplar!!
So, you could say it’s The Giving Tree?
That’s one big family tree! I would have been interesting watching them climb down.
And look at dad in the back getting in a squeeze.
looks like the first guy on the right is copping a feel.
who thought this was a good idea….I hope photographers don’t think these things up
It’s literally a ton of people. How is that tree holding up? Baaaadddd idea…
I think I know where this is! And that branch has since broken off. obviously!
I have to say, I’m always amazed when people know the people in the pictures on AFP. But knowing where one of the props from one of the photos is? Geez. Really? You’re sure it’s the same tree?
Where???????????? I think I know too!
I fervently hope that branch is only a few feet off the ground.
Got wood?
Come on Dad, watch your hands…..
Notice Pappaw at the end getting a handful of Mammaw!
Dad gets frisky with mom.
the baby looks a little nervous!
My first thought: These people have apparently never seen America’s Funniest Home videos. Second thought: get that baby down! he’s not old enough for consent!
as the picture is snapped the branch breaks…that would be an even better Awkward Family Photo
This family has definitely got wood. . . . .
Check out dad’s hand.
Oh I love this photo. Everyone looks happy and healthy. It’s joyful! I especially like the two on the far right! The guy is impishly grabbing her butt and she’s thinking it’s a riot.
Why do you think they have so many kids! Beautiful family!
I don’t live in USA so I don’t know much english, but what does this caption stands for?
This tree is definitely giving more than it’s receiving.
There is a popular children’s book by Shel Silverstein called The Giving Tree.
I’m thinking that after this picture, the family name was changed to the Sopranos. For the guys, anyway.
Ouch…
before or after the limb broke
Hey I know this family! HAHAHAHA Great family, silly picture! LOL
I know them also. They are a great family and there are a lot more of them now (spouses and grandkids). That little baby now has four siblings. Good thing they took this picture while they still could!
You mean before they ran out of tree branch or it simply snapped?
Socks with sandals? Come on….this is a keepsake photograph
And black socks at that!!!!!!
The guy next to the trunk is copping a feel!
I notice that too — go dad!!
Now we know where all those kids came from!
