Remember, as elephants always do, you don’t get to pick your parents…..

  2. Jeff says:

I’ve heard of the elephant man and elephantiasis but…

  3. AJSH says:

This is definitely one of my favorites. Instead of holding a bag, someone should be sitting on a trunk (sorry).

  4. Andrea says:

Is that one b or two?

  5. Smartazz says:

I just can’t believe what a nice house they have, considering the Dad works for peanuts !!!

  9. Allison says:

I told my mom recently that I was “not a fan of Babar.” I didn’t mention that he and his family terrified me to death!

They never forget- AND THEY NEVER FORGIVE

This is how you share those everyday tusks around the whole family.

  20. Merv says:

A more Republican family, you will never find.

  21. gregorian says:

To be honest, it wasn’t a very practical disguise for bank hold-ups.

  22. toes says:

Trick or treating dressed as Republicans. Now THAT’S frightening! (jk)

  23. Virginia Price says:

The clothes are all wrong. Where’s the green suit on Babar? Celeste and Flor should have pink dresses and Pom/Alexander needs a white t-shirt and blue shorts.

  24. DubbaC says:

The best thing about Elephants? They never forget.

  25. Brett says:

Is this a scene from a David Lynch movie?

  26. CMM says:

“I can’t shake this feeling that the Smiths are Republicans.”

      • livremaniac says:

1 elephant went out to play, upon a spider’s web one day.
He had such enormous fun that he called for another elephant to come. Two elephants …

  33. Billy says:

    LoL, wheres anthony hopkins?

  34. Sandi says:

yeah I go with trick or treating

  35. they are dressed as Bar Bar and Family …childrens book…good attempt

  36. Nelley says:

Why is the father elephant holding a hat while wearing a crown?

love that dad’s holding lil’ babar by the ear tenderly!!! this is so cute!

  38. North says:

and there’s nothing like reading the obituaries then trick-or-treating…

  39. North says:

Is the father elephant disciplining the youngest by twisting his ear?

  40. Beth says:

I love it. My kids are huge fans of Babar and they would get the biggest kick out of this for Halloween.

  41. Tim S says:

I am not an animal! Wait, OK, I guess I am!

  42. Rory says:

I don’t think this looks that awkward at all. I like this, a family dressed up as elephants together, looks like they are having good times.

    • Becca says:

Yes…..a VERY good time. So much fun! Woopee!

    • Hugh says:

The awkwardness comes from the placement of the eye holes in the children’s elephant heads. They have one eye hole directly in line with the trunk and the other is off to one side. No way you can wear that head and see with both eyes. Almost looks like they were made for cyclops children.

  43. Don says:

A unique way of addressing the “elephant in the room.”

  44. senora_jennifer says:

Love it! I’d actually like to know how they’re made. 🙂

  45. dennylou says:

I am guessing that this is a family Trick-or-Treat Halloween outing, given the kid on the left looks like he may be holding a bag of candy.

  46. Glastafarian says:

There’s something here that we don’t talk about.

  47. durhay says:

I wail and Ganesh my teeth at this awkwardness.
