ROTFLMAO! I want a copy of this to place on my wall, I can’t help but laugh every time I look at this and read it…

  2. kacky says:

I don’t think you should post photos where one of the family members is obviously disabled. Sham on you.

  3. 804Cheaha says:

While all the women came and went…darling Anna remained steadfast.

  4. Mominthepicture says:

I can’t even remember what happened, but I have YET to get a good family photo of us. And yes, that dad is hot! Remains hot to this day!

  5. Emma says:

Oh, and it’s definitely not a sneeze.

  6. Emma says:

I’m afraid you all may find the backstory less than compelling: we had been trying to take some nice family photos, and youngest sisterlein was crying about something very stupid, and we were at once laughing at the fact that she was crying about something stupid and the fact that she was bawling openly in front of the self-timed camera.

    It’s mom/dad/3 daughters, fwiw.

    • Nikki says:

This may very well be my favorite picture on AFP. I love your family! Not much of an explanation was really needed for me. I could see plainly what transpired here. It is quite obvious that little sister is bawling about something silly and her obviously very loving family is laughing about it. This picture is perfect. I absolutely adore it. She is precious. I am in love with every single person in this picture. <3

  7. Heather says:

Even if it’s just a sneeze, they’re still all looking at just her and laughing, so they wouldn’t be laughing at the sneeze already. Did she say something funny before it? So confused.

  8. Steph says:

    That dad IS hot.

  9. Jeff says:

“According to what I read, LBJ used to pick up his dogs like this…”

  10. Todd says:

“Enjoy the sunlight. It’s just a quick photo and then you have to go back in the shed”

  11. passthetissue says:

I’m fairly sure it is a sneeze. I have an almost identical photo of my grandchildren and the five year old has a horrendous look on her face mid-sneeze.

  12. Song Dog says:

    Isn’t that Linda Hunt?

  13. NarcissusShrugged says:

My 1st thought was that it was professionally staged, expressions seem too perfect, maybe. Dunno, though.
I’m with the rest: What’s goes on here?

  14. Legacy says:

Not only laugh at you, but record it for future reference.

  15. Erica says:

What scares me is this is a seriously good photo. Like a magazine add. WTH happened…

  16. The Curious Onlooker says:

    Jim Halpert is always closing.

  17. Carolyn says:

I was thinking they were all siblings, not dad. Looks like it could have been a great picture. I, too, would like to know the “rest of the story”.

  18. AMANDA says:

I have a feeling she’s crying because she either has gum in her hair or a bird pooped in it when they were trying to take the picture. The family might be laughing as dad tries to scrap the unwanted residue from her hair. I could be wrong– just my guess.

  19. Lynne says:

This little girl really looks incredibly unhappy. Did the photo submission come with a backstory? Poor thing… ::sniff!::

  20. kat says:

Maybe that IS her “laughing” face

  21. Gina says:

I feel really bad for her. I doubt it was her that posted this picture. definitely interested in a backstory!

  22. caroline says:

    HOT daddy!!

  23. Jeep says:

Dad: “That’s right honey, You’re getting locked back into the closet after the photo.”
    Girl: Screams
    Sisters: “She’s so funny”

  24. Atlanta Pam says:

And people wonder why the youngest in the family always grows up to be angry and resentful and refuses to visit at Christmas.

  25. CarrieM says:

Either she’s a drama queen or her family finds her pain amusing, or she’s sneezing. I hope she’s sneezing.

  26. E50ram says:

    WET WILLY!!!

  27. amy says:

The curse of the read headed step child.

  28. Rae says:

    What is happening?

  29. Luca says:

    that is art

  30. Ginger says:

Emma, can we PLEASE have the story behind this awkwardness?

  31. Laura says:

“Every party has a pooper, that’s why we invited you….”

  32. To be fair he is stepping on her foot!

  33. Harry says:

Nothing more satisfying as a father than looking right down at your children and laughing at them.

  34. passthetissue says:

    Ah-ah-ah—CHOO!!!!

  35. mrs5180 says:

    this NEEDS a backstory!!!! :D

  36. Bethyanne says:

“We’re not laughing with you, we’re laughing at you…”

  37. Mike says:

The day Carrie began to turn bad…

  38. RICHARD says:

sure, go ahead, make fun of her, dont buy her a pair of shoes, pull her hair and in a few years when she reenacts Lizzie Borden then you wont be laughing.

  39. JerseyPam says:

I’d be crying too if someone yanked all my teeth out.

  40. Jon says:

Cut to a scene 20 years later… Sister is now 6’2 and muscular. She’s yanking his hair back. Who’s laughing now dad? Who’s laughing?

    • ryan says:

I just had to laugh at this comment because my lil brother who was nothing but a toothpick is now 6 foot 2 and 250 pds of muscle..
      thanks for the laugh

  41. Snowrider says:

I’ve no comment except: Backsory PLEASE!

  42. Pondering Tim says:

Perhaps they just all gave her a “hurts donut.”
