These four puzzle pieces might not always connect, but that doesn’t mean they don’t go together.

I dropped a friend due to their choice of this wallboard.
OMG…we had that EXACT paneling in our house! It was in our dining room…for YEARS! Actually, I think it’s still there and they just painted it white.
I thought my family was the only one with that wallpaper! In our case it came in sheets like paneling & is still up in the kitchen. My father also had Harvest Gold appliances & had to search to find replacements when the old ones wore out.
My parents kitchen had this exact wallpaper as well!
We have this EXACT wallpaper in our house (thankfully buried by another layer of wallpaper) all done prior to my buying the property. My home and the others nearby were all pre-fab and my neighbors still have this wallpaper in their kitchen… awful
My mom chose a wallpaper in the house before this one that had vegetables all over it although celery was especially predominant. For the kitchen. In the 70’s & 80’s. It blew my mind that she actually CHOSE it!
Can you find the 4 family members hidden in this picture?
….Im Related to these lovables goofballs! lol no i seriously am <3
Wow! I submitted this awhile ago, then forgot about it.
I’m the younger daughter. Yes, my sister had a broken wrist, so she had to wear a Ziplock bag over her cast when we went in the pool (because who would miss an opportunity to use the pool?). Yes, the clothes were all made by my mom. My sister and I actually had dresses that matched my dad’s shirt, but fortunately they aren’t in this picture.
In our defense, that isn’t our kitchen. I’m still trying to figure out how my dad managed to shave four inches off of his height.
I think the mother’s dress says “SUN FUN” on it. Add that to the subliminal soup a’brewin here …
sweet jesus…my family has the same wallpaper in the kitchen.
OMG!!!! I was just thinking “Jeez, that looks eerily similar to the wallpaper in my parents kitchen in the 80s!!!”
my best friend’s parents’ house had this in their kitchen as well, yes, in the 80’s! talk about a flashback!
WHAAAAAT!!! I only clicked on the comments because I was going to leave a comment saying that I had the same wallpaper in my kitchen growing up! (In the 80’s)
OMG… me too
If you stare at the center of the picture for a minute or two, four human heads will start to emerge……..very eerie!
I never could make anything out of those Magic Eye pictures.
I like the dads shirt.
Love the caption for this.
I am willing to bet all the clothing is homemade…
If you stare long enough you’ll see a sailboat.
Hahhahahhahha! I have a headache!
Oh my gosh – sib and I had very similar walls in our bedroom going up – but it was pre-decorated wallboard – no paper! Ugly as homemade sin – and it’s still in that room today. UGH!
We had it too I think it was in our bathroom!! Crazy ugly.
My grandmother had that in her house forever too! It was soft and kinda mushy like corkboard, but had that ugly pattern…
I think the older girl does have a cast on her arm – and what’s she holding up next to the younger one? The younger one is clearly wishing she wasn’t there.
I think it’s a cupcake. Looks like she just took a bite of it.
These people just don’t know what they stand for. Flowers, No! stripes, No! checkerboards, No! Clocks, No! Fishermen, No! Sea gulls, No! Lighthouses, No!Teapots, No…Or, Yes! Or…No!
I sure laughed at the picture. But it’s you ridiculous people and your ridiculous comments that did me in. Seriously. My stomach hurts from laughing. Some of you guys and your comments make these horrid pictures so worthwhile! Thanks for the laughs.
my aunt and uncle had that hideous wallpaper in their kitchen at one time
The only thing that could possibly make that wallpaper work is a framed photo of the Gorton’s fisherman and a seagull wall plaque……..Oh, wait, nope, that didn’t help.
I couldn’t figure out if that was the Gorton’s fisherman or Rasputin. Thanks for the clarification.
I thought it was Jesus. I’m glad it’s the Gorton’s fisherman
Sending a message in a bottle, any non reading higher being can read this cryptic distress call!
Dad has Texas right over his heart. As it should be. That alone redeems this photo!
Does Dad’s shirt have maps of states on it? I think I see Texas and California. Hilarious.
I think I may have had a seizure whilst trying to view this photo.
It’s the wall paper that makes this insane! If they were out by a pool, or somewhere outside, this would be less of a headache!
They are outside: see the bird flying by. Lol
Either that wallpaper goes or I do!
The younger daughter is so overwhelmed by all those patterns and colors she can’t even keep her eyes open….ouch!
Individually their powers are weak, but together…. *cue superhero music* Ready to form Mega-Awkward! Activate interlocks! Dyna-therms connected. Infra-cells up; mega-thrusters are go!
I’m such a nerd. No one got the Voltron reference. I think I belong in this photo.
Oh, no, I get it! And it’s making me laugh!! 🙂
I tried to color correct this one in Photoshop. My computer exploded.
OMG haha… this comment made me laugh out loud! 😀
Ding. Ding. Ding.
My eyes are bleeding.
Oh, my eyes! My eyes!!!
This family was so desperate to avoid a photo that they had to be chased into a corner? No wonder they look like they’re just giving up.
Wow, we’ve got overwhelmingly busy wallpaper, ghastly clothes that manage to OUTDO the wallpaper, Mom’s stare of death, kid’s got her eyes closed, leotards(?), an arm cast, and a cupcake. It’s an AFP grab bag!
Does the oldest daughter have a cast on her arm or is that a sweet glove? The father’s weak attempt at a smile isn’t convincing me…
Well, designers do usually recommend you decorate your home to reflect the sort of clothes you like to wear.
Great profile pic. We love MST3K at our house! My son was singing along with the theme song when he was two:)
CAN’T. FOCUS. PATTERNS. EVERYWHERE.
The older child looks like the U.S. redneck equivalent to Emma Watson (Hermione Granger).
