EVERYONE had those doors back then!
I remember getting my wisdom teeth out. The good thing for me is that I was unconscious for several hours afterwards, so I didn’t have to feel the initial pain for quite a while.
These guys look miserable, lol.
I was drinking chocolate shakes and sleeping thanks to awesome medication. <3
Never seen anything like this! And you people all seem to have experienced this? Painkillers…no? Fantastic!
charolette, this is going to sound crazy and i know the photo looks older, but these boys look like they could be relation to my family.
Oh no, it’s the notorious “Mumps Bandits” back at their hideout.
I realize that the ice packs are for wisdom teeth, but “Wisdom Teeth Bandits” didn’t sound mean enough.
Ha!!
This is hilariously deliciously awkward-funny. Thanks for submitting! Also, you guys are so cute, even with half your face wrapped in ice bags and swollen.
Is that a Ball State shirt?
Absolutely! I had one just like it!
This is exactly what I looked like after I had my wisdom teeth out… I recognized it right away before I even read the comments! Well, I didn’t have a twin, but still. Owie.
Hilarious Photo! So, could you say this was a “toofer?”
I remember those Parkay butter bowls like the one in the foreground. I think my mom saved every single one! We used them for everything.
My mom did the same thing! I always hated looking for the actual butter, because I never knew which container to look in. Sometimes it was a not so nice suprise, like spoiled food.
Great photo. Nice momment.
I’m proud to be the twin brother in the blue. And yes, it was wisdom teeth being removed (c.1980).
Ball State shirt on the red twin?
Takes me right back to 1971 – especially the stylish Richard Carpenter hair.
Ah, yes, all four wisdom teeth at once. I remember it well. The oral surgeon didn’t want to do all four; he wanted to do one side and then the other later on. Corn on the cob season was coming up and I wasn’t going to miss that! I looked as if I had taken a couple of punches to the jaw, but I was ready for corn when it was ready to be eaten.
Love it! Knew this deserved a much larger audience!!
Thank god for commenters … I was seriously confused.
I’m guessing this was before dental surgery patients were getting prescriptions of Percocet..
“You boys had better stop yelling or I’ll freeze your mouths off!”
Little did they know…
wisdom teeth, eh?
My twin sister and I both had our wisdom teeth out at the same time too.
Ice packs? Mumps? wisdom teeth removed?
