That’s me behind the tree… I’m not cousin Albert, I’m cousin Chad. I don’t know what the he’ll was going on.

  5. Ben says:

Yep.. that’s my dad. I’m going to start calling him grumpy shorts.

Being a player of Second Life, my first thought was “he must have been AFK”

  7. Maureen says:

This is just full of awkward win! Man with no head, girl taking to guy behind her, little girl either playing with her fingers or her hand held game of whatever decade this is, shirtless kid playing with his belly button, black shirt guy looking off in the distance and so on. All happening behind Captain Grumpyshorts (loved that name for him Nic). I think this may be my favorite AFP yet. 🙂

  8. KR says:

“I don’t know who he is. We were waiting for the flash and this guy just wandered into the shot.”

  9. Tim S says:

The self timer didn’t go off when he thought it should, so Uncle Tim headed to the tripod to see what went wrong.

  10. jaklumen says:

“Stay tuned for another exciting adventure of Captain Plaid… and his Superkids!”

  11. bean says:

Beva, I was thinking the same thing. Man with head behind tree is pretty impressive as well.

  12. Nic says:

looks like Grumpyshorts was about to go approach the photographer with some less than kind words

  13. Doug says:

The only thing missing from the outfit is black socks.

  14. Keith says:

It seems to me that this was the only place he could stand to make full use of his new third-leg-tripod attachment.

  15. Kristen says:

    This is MY sand mound!

  16. Scout C says:

Cousin Albert (on the far left) pouted because HE wanted to be in the front row.

  17. JanG says:

Behind every successful man there’s a bunch of hungry kids who expect to be fed… clothed… educated… etc. etc.

  18. Beva says:

I must say I adore the person in blue whose hiding their entire skull in the branches.
