Family Portrait
The Rennies
“This photo was taken in 2007 or 2008. I am the young girl in this my parents made me go to this renaissance fair when I was sick. This day was hot, and my parents made me wear all this old looking heavier clothing. That was not pleasant. My mom is not dressed appropriate for a family picture. My brother is starring away and my dad his smile on his face. What kind of smile is that? And he is wearing sunglasses… I don’t think they had those prescription sunglasses back in the day, Dad.”

Other Side Of The Fence
“Our photographer had the kids sitting on a fence posing for holiday photos. She asked them to pretend like they were laughing which made my son look ridiculous. So, his sister thought she would pretend to push him off, and then save his life to add a little fun to the moment. It didn’t really work out for her!”

Flu Shot
“Our family went for flu shots. Our 13 year old daughter just couldn’t handle the idea of getting a shot, not before, during or after. We decided to take a picture after our vaccination. She just wouldn’t stop crying.”

United We Stand
“My girls and I took a family photo yearly when they were growing up. This was our last photo and we decided to make it memorable. We all chose an outfit and told the photographer how to pose us. This is the result.”

Sweaterrific
“I was going through old photo albums at my future father in-law’s house to scan childhood images of my fiance for our wedding slideshow. Both my fiance and his father are pretty masculine…played football, served in the military and in law enforcement…but somewhere along the way, my fiance’s former stepmother managed to dress the guys in these terrible outfits and drag them to an Olan Mills for what I can only imagine was one of the worst afternoons of their lives.”

Squeezebox
“This picture was taken in a photo booth that was quite small. We all tried our best to fit..well…this was the end result!! It has been one of our most treasured family portraits for years!!”
