That pet is a young reticulated python, a.k.a. the record-holding world’s longest snake (33 feet-ish) Some retics are tame, others can be somewhat un-relaxed. They have big teeth and can make holes in you. Hopefully Captain Crotch’s pal there is one of the friendly ones.
