I have two huskies and have seen this in person many times.
Oh, yeah. I know this face. It’s the face of the Lab that pulled the frozen turkey out of the kitchen sink, the Lab I found standing on my kitchen table trying to get to the pie cooling on the baker’s rack, the Lab that steals candy from the baby hand, the Lab that runs the cat over racing to the kitchen when he heard the can opener. My dog has used this strategy to snatch individual chunks of meat off of a plate of sweet and sour chicken, to steal my cookies, and to lick my coffee cup. I’m not sure if she’s ever looked quite this desperate, however!
