Gravestone Preparedness

“Has to be one of the most cringeworthy Christmas cards I’ve ever seen.  That is my parents in front of THEIR OWN gravestones they purchased this year…At least they are prepared!”

Fashion Downward

“Me, my sister, our dad and our grandma on a hike and wearing painfully 90s-era clothes. Dad thought he could hold both of us for the photo opp. GOOD JOB, DAD.”

Monumental Disappointment

“Since my husband was on an extended temporary duty assignment in the D.C. area in late 2013, we jumped into homeschooling and took advantage of all the historical sights to see. After a six mile hike through the National Mall during the holidays, our last stop was to see Honest Abe. Our 7 and 9 year old boys were so thrilled to run up the steps, but when I told them to stand in front of Lincoln for a photo, you would have thought they just found out Santa wasn’t real.”

Next Time, Try A Post-It

“I went to take a shower early this morning. Opened the curtain to find this lovely note from my S.O. Scared the crap out of me at first. Don’t worry, it was written in my son’s bathtub markers, not blood. I fell on my ass screaming before I figured that out.”

Prom Fatigue

“It was 1992. We were at my now-wife’s senior prom. This was our umpteenth picture and we just wanted to hurry up and get out of those clothes–I mean, get to the dance.”

Stitch’s Unlucky Day

“We got to Disney at opening, rushed through the park to get out fast-passes, and caught this guy. Guess he thought he had more time.”
