First There Were Engagement Photos, Now There’s Breakup Photos
We all remember our first real relationship. At the time it seems like it’s going to last forever. So we can forgive Harrison Bach and Jacqueline Martin, both 22, for having trouble letting go. After dating for three years they broke things off, but didn’t let the relationship fade away without a little memorial. Both of them were home from new hears when Harrison texted Jacqueline with an idea: breakup photos.
Jacqueline went along with it, and the result is…well, what you’d expect from two people who just decided they weren’t right for each other. The discomfort is palpable:
Something tells me the breakup wasn’t exactly mutual:
Don’t worry, they didn’t spend money on the photoshoot, a friend did it.

The Shirt Said “No”, But She Said “Yes”

Yes He Can
They say having a sense of humor can get you through anything, and Todd Krieg and his fiance Amanda Diesen are proving it with their pregnancy photo.
Todd was a professional motocrosser until 2014, when an accident left him paralyzed from the chest down. Amanda was his physical therapist, which is how they met and fell in love. Doctors told them the chances of conceiving were slim, but they defied the odds and were able to have a baby. So, in their photo announcing their conception, Todd also wanted to announce that “It still works.” (And Amanda looks like she was being a good sport about it.)
Their gender reveal photo is equally awesome, if a bit less risque.
Todd and Amanda are even entered in a contest to win their dream California wedding. You can vote for them here.
Congratulations on the new baby, Todd and Amanda, and on being an inspiration to us all.

The Uncanny Valley
“This ‘portrait’ (I use the term loosely) was the best man’s wedding gift (I again use the term loosely) for my best friend, Leya and her husband Trevor. He had it ‘commissioned’ this painting based on a photo taken at Trevor’s police academy graduation. The intention was good, the outcome not so. Whenever any of us who present that day see, hear or talk about this portrait we instantly dissolve into uncontrollable laughter. Thankfully, the best man was not pleased with the outcome either and does find the humor in the situation.”
