“It was family day at the mall and my brother and I were blindsided by this awful scheme. My mother stopped right in front of one of those kiosks where you dress up your kids in mortifying costumes and take pictures of them and of course my Mom was all for it. “This is a photo of my parents at a neighbor’s house in 1984 (before I was born). The chainsaw was the neighbor’s Christmas present. My dad was holding it and I guess one of the neighbors thought it would be a good idea to take a picture.
