Washio And The Notorious G

“I recently used the Washio laundry app and my wife and I were both happy with the speed of the service. The way it works– one of their “ninjas” (their word, not mine) comes to you house, picks up your launrdy, and then drops off next day or so. Well, when we got our clean launrdy and my wife was unpacking it, she found a mysterious pair of panties– a g-string to be exact. Now, fortunately, I have a very secure marriage, but you can imagine the dilemma this could cause for a married man. A pair of panties finds its way into the laundry… the man blames Washio and the wife is thinking, “Sure. Washio.” But, in this case, it was in fact Washio. We have two kids, we’re both exhausted, and the thought of having an affair just makes me more tired. So I contacted Washio and explained the situation…. their response was very professional, but still, cracked me up. This was the text: “Hi Mike, I sincerely apologize for the mixup. Washio does not mix orders during washing, however it sounds as if there was an unintentional addition on the folding table. We can send a Ninja to retrieve the panties at your earliest convenience. Again, with the ‘ninjas.’ I’ve included a photo of the panties.”

Flock Of Seagulls

“This picture was taken in 1989 when we were 15, we thought mullets were cool. On that day, I had a particularly tight curly mullet. I guess I thought I was a mini Gene Simmons at age 14. My friend at the bottom of the picture was rocking his best Flock of Seagulls haircut. Another irony was the guy on the right had a La Jolla Sea Gull shirt on. What was he doing with his hand?”

Dazed And Confused

“This was my wedding day September of 2000. Someone got a shot of us looking dazed and confused! I’m the bride and my two sisters are on each end looking totally puzzled. Not really sure what’s going on there on the right!? This is what happens when you have a large family with many photo shoots! This picture has been a classic for almost 15 yrs now.”

Deep V

“My 2 year old son’s preschool recently did school photos and I sent him in a cute sweater. I’m not sure if his teachers and the photographer completely failed to look at him, but it seems pretty obvious that the intention of this sweater was to have the zipper partially zipped. The unzipped sweater coupled with his lack of smile and messy hair made for a memorable first school photo.”

Rabbit Ears

“This is a photo of my wife (in the middle) with her sister and dad. I love the before and after aspect of this picture. You can see the glee of a 10 year old who is certain she has a great idea, then the moment immediately after her mom (taking the picture) says ,”Put your hand down!” and how crushed she seems. Everyone else in the photo’s apparent obliviousness only adds to the moment.”

Shroomed For Success

“My parents used to tell my only brother and I that we used to have another brother who turned into a mushroom from not taking a bath. They even added him to the family albums.”

“My sister and I had a long day carrying our fanny packs around Disney, but our mom wanted to get a fiesta photo at Epcot for good measure. No queremos sombreros!”
