Hanging Out With Dad
“My family and I in Yosemite. I was four years old and my Mom left my Dad and brother in charge of babysitting while she went off hiking. They seemed awfully proud of their handiwork when she got back. The odd thing was that my mom agreed to take the picture while I hung there.”

“My mother wanted to have a nice portrait with her three daughters. This was approximately 1996. My older sister in the Kimono style dress is obviously annoyed. I’m standing, with terrible posture, staring down the photographer with dagger eyes. My younger sister is making a fish face. We are know for taking some crazy pictures, but I think this was a candid moment we continue to cherish.”

“My kids all were pretty excited about going back to school. However, I think the nerves got to my 1st grader and she cried about everything that morning. Back to school picture gold. She ended up having a great day, but my second grader who was most excited out of the three said it was ‘boring.'”
