“My mom was always good at making Halloween costumes no matter what I wanted to be. She asked 8 year old me what I wanted to be so I said ‘a cigarette!” She got to work and made me a Marlboro, lit with ashes at the top. Needless to say, the school banned any cigarette related costumes the next year.”

“The day before school pictures 1984 my mom was complaining that I wore black too often (all the time). So after making myself beautiful on school picture day I grabbed an old white sweater vest out of her closet and wore it to school. She still was not pleased with my school photos. Wonder why?”
