Center Of Attention Revisited

A huge thanks to AFP royalty, Alex, from the classic Center Of Attention for sending another pic of her memorable holiday portrait session.

Urban Cowboy

“This was one of my most awkward years, early 80’s when Urban Cowboy was blowing up at the box office.  My school decided that spring photos would be exactly that. Well I am not sure if that was the greatest of ideas, but its given my family, facebook and now hopefully AFP plenty more laughs!!!”

Just the Facts

“This is a photo of my sister (the murderer), my brother (the reporter), and my Dad (the victim). The way I’ve heard the story told, as I was still a few years from being born, they lived next to a reporter for the local news channel and one day, my dad decided it would be funny to stage this picture…complete with “blood stains” on his back. The back of the picture actually says, “Just the Facts, Ma’am, 8/01/75.”

Nothing’s Permanent

“I was pushing my brother’s GI Joe jeep up the hill.  I was bent over, face down & pushing.  The jeep came out from under me & I smashed my face on the pavement.  To remedy the situation, my mom decided to give me a home perm.  Gotta’ love the busted up face with the 70’s wallpaper & home perm curlers.”

Chocolate Baby

“Discovered that one digitizing my grandparents slides. Must have been around the late 1960s. We are not certain about what happend prior to this photo been taken. Our hypothesis: The girl stole and eat the boys chocolate and got into trouble for doing so. Result: Girl sad, boy sad. We’ll never truly know, but this is just epic. It makes me laugh every time I look at it.”
