Battle Of The Bulge
“This was taken just before we were attached to a steel cable and hurled through the Thai jungle (like a flying fox – the tour was called “Flight of the Gibbons.”) As you can see, my husband looks like he was quite excited about the tour.”

Bottom Line
“I was 6 and on a road trip through southern Brazil with my family. At a petrol stop, somebody thought it would be nice to take a picture of me mimicking the plaque which points to the restrooms. I’m not sure if my father included the stranger inadvertently or not but to this day he swears it was a mistake.”

Mermaids In Front
“This photo was taken on an Easter trip to Florida in April 1971, where we visited the Weeki Wachee Springs and saw the Mermaid Show, which I loved. I think our dad had my younger sister and me pose with these ‘mermaids’ in order to have an excuse to take a picture of the women.'”

“This is my family touring in Germany back in the 80’s. If we were anymore blatantly American, we would have been wearing American flag pants and “I Love America” t-shirts. I’m the one in the blue pants hiked up nice and high. Guess I wanted to make sure everyone saw my socks with Jellies.”
