Ready Player Two

Pet Project
“Here we have a photo of my dad with a poodle, a Siamese cat and a raccoon…that is nibbling on his ear. My grandpa looks on with sheer amazement. Circa 1967.”

The Curse Of Christmas Past
“Me dressed as Santa holding my 7 month old brother. He still doesn’t like Christmas.”
Semi Perm
“We live in a rural super small town in central Illinois. My Aunt who had moved to the ‘big city’ (Chicago) went to beauty school. She came home to visit with her home perm set. We were all impressed.. She set it up in our kitchen and permed me, my mom and my 3 siblings. I had the longest hair so she just did my bangs. Mullets weren’t even a thing yet!”

Why I Hate Clowns

He’s #1
“Picture taken in 2019. Took our little man to have his newborn pictures taken. While we both look so peaceful, there he is flipping the bird. The photographer didn’t even notice it. Apparently he hates taking pictures, just like his Dad.”

Bottle Service
“My family liked to play board games — so much so that apparently feeding the baby (me) took too much precious time away from the game! So they rigged a string from the lamp to hold my bottle. My sister is quite proud of this hack! Dad is in the background, likely getting another game of Scrabble ready. Pretty sure Mom took the picture! Ironically, it probably took them longer to rig up the bottle than it would have taken to actually feed me.”
