Family In The Raw

“When your amazing artist Dad says you’re taking a family photo and his photographer friend is going to shoot it, you do it with no question. Oh, and Dad wants it to be unique so it will be in black and white. And we will appear shirtless. He’s the artist, so he knows best, right?

This is the first (and only) time this photo has hit the light of day.

Note: There is this group photo and we each took individual photos. Each print is 18″ x 24″ in size.

Enjoy, cruel world.”

Sisterfreude

“Easter 1985. I am the gleeful four-year-old that just sent her little sister running away in tears. All my mom wanted was a nice picture of my sister and I in our cute dresses.”

The Super Bowl

“I was looking through some old albums at home and found this gem. It’s my aunt and I. I’m not sure what was going on in the photo, but I’m guessing that I just got a new haircut and was not so happy with it.”

The Crabapple

“This is a Christmas photo shoot of my three boys, then ages two, four, and six. They were supposed to be posing around that box, which was a place holder for their soon-to-be-born sister (the photographer was going to Photoshop her in after she was born). We were trying to get the boys to look at the box in awe, but they didn’t understand. Then one of my sons found a crabapple and threw it right at the photographer…”

The Big Dig

“My husband and I got married 3/20/20, the Friday before everything in our area was shut down for COVID-19. Loved this photo of us with my new father-in law in the background…on a dig.”
