Prom Envy
“It was my daughter’s 9th grade prom and we wanted pictures as a family. I also wanted one picture of just her and I. My son didn’t like that idea so much, (he’s a big momma’s boy,) and decided to pout in the doorway. My husband captured this hilarious picture, and it’s in a frame at my parent’s house now.”

Get Lucky
“My hometown newspaper did a front page article about me and the author interviewed my husband and me. She asked for a tip to get good nature photos and I said, ‘get out there, the more you are out the more you see.’ My husband commented that people said I was lucky but I said ‘the harder I work the luckier I am’. And that became the headline.”

The Queen Of Dew
“When I was a senior in high school, I was obsessed with Mountain Dew. I would have like six a day, any size. There was never a time one was not in my hand. So for my senior photos, I thought it was going to be a great idea to make a throne of Mountain Dew to sit on. I went out the morning of my photos and bought six 24-packs to build my throne. It took me a few weeks to get through all of it. It’s hilarious now because I don’t drink Mountain Dew anymore.”
