The Pole Family Revisited
Well, every now and then, we open our inbox and hear from one of our classic AFP families. Tim Wright sent in this awesome recreation of their pole-rrific original.
Thank to Tim and the whole Wright Family and we encourage everyone to check out their website and YouTube vlog at TheWrightClan.

Daddy Issues
“My 1st grade son was asked to draw a picture of his family for Spanish class – this was when we realized maybe my husband was a little stressed out.”

Die Pigs
“This is from my five-year-old son’s kindergarten workbook. They were supposed to write the last letters for rhyming words. When I asked him about it, he said ‘Oops! I meant to write a G! Haha!’ At this point he has no idea what word he actually wrote.”

Recreating the Awkwardness
“The elf suit you see here was passed from me, to my younger sister, to finally our baby brother. Clearly we weren’t too happy with him that Christmas. We decided to recreate this touching photo for our parents this Christmas. Upon reflection, our mom said she found it a bit disconcerting that she continued to take the photo rather than save my sister from my brother’s death grip.”

Party Like It’s 1995
“I was nine years old, and my younger sister was almost 7. I vaguely remember my mom giving us a ton of New Year’s party favors for us to play with. Apparently we tried them on, and she wanted a photo. Thank God she caught us in our best clothes…a magenta wind suit and short-alls with tights and a turtleneck. I guess this was also that phase where she let us do our own hair. You might also notice that I am wearing a Nutcracker necklace that I was particularly fond of. Everything about this photo screams cool.”
