What is super scary about this photo? Let me tell you. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw that cute lil blonde girl because she looks EXACTLY like my daughter, with the same expression she gets when I leave her with a baby sitter…totally, utterly, dejected. This photo looks to have been taken in the 80′s but my daughter is only 2 (in 2010). Do you believe in reincarnation? Like she was misreble because she was born to the wrong mommy. Sad, and twisted all at the same time. I’m going to hug my baby now.
What’s ironic about the children of the corn comments is they are really huge farmers lol! I love seeing people I know on here it makes it even funnier!
I think it’s so awkward because the poor little girl in the middle looks SO confused and uncomfortable. Like, “Really? This is my family??” AND she’s almost crossing her legs a little, like she’s gotta pee. Which just makes it funnier
Another example of a picture that would be just mildly amusing alone but the caption gave it a whole story in just a few words. Love you guys – you’re brilliant.
If this was in black & white, it’d look like the pictures from the early days of photography, when the subjects had to stand still for a very long time while the photographer did things under his black hood. The people generally ended up looking this stiff, as what might have been pleasant expressions gradually faded leaving them looking much like the youngest girl. See, e.g., group photos of Civil War generals and other photos of that vintage.
This isn’t a particularly good photo but not so sure what is awkward about it.Because the little one is standing on a stool? If you make another book, I would leave this one out.

It is not the little girl!!! The boy is shooting the finger! lolololol
The little girl could so be me at that age.. or my daughter now.
I personally know the parents in this photo. and they are very nice folks.
But I will admit none look too happy to be in this pic.
From the look on the little girl’s face, I fully expect the photographer’s head to have exploded moments after this picture was taken.

That little girl reminds me of one of thoes creepy porcelin dolls
Personally, I think that the little girl has an adorable face. Who doesn’t love a pouty 2 yr old?
This was taken right before she disappeared into the TV!! Carolann…Carolann?
poltergeist?
Rosemary’s Family Photo
I don’t get it.
REDRUM!!REDRUM!!
2 Aunts, 1 Brother and the family cat are all in the Cornfield (Not pictured)

It’s not really awkward. It’s actually kinda cute.
“I see dead people”
Great Family Pic…they look like really fun people.
She’s the only one without a weird split in her bangs. Kudos, little girl, for being tough enough to grow hair all the way across your forehead.
I LOVE THIS LITTLE GIRL! SHE IS TOO FUNNY.
If baby Carrie isn’t happy, then NOBODY’S happy… or left alive.
She just looks sad to me…
I guess having your picture taken can be serious business.
Give me the boy and I’ll let you live!
Meh….

Is that a pin hole I can see at the top centre?? So… this pic has been pinned up somewhere for years…….Now, THAT”S awkward!
notice the thumb tack hole in the pic? Someone tacked this gem of a family up
. . . or took a shot at it, more likely.
I really hope this was not the best this photographer could do for this family. Only 2 (sort of) smiles in a family of 5? Really?

I don’t get it, either… Looks like an unhappy family to me, but awkward?
The girl on the left is THE ONLY one who is smiling.
Perhaps she is the Damion of the family?
Yes! I’m glad I’m not the only one that gets it! lol
they are all standing…. and rebelious looking.
Her Sioux name would be Stands With A Red Ribbon.
Hahaha..
She’s the whole reason Custer is *not* standing.

NOW on NBC, Season Premiere of …”THE MISERABLES” The weekly story of a family, that is SO miserable, it makes YOU feel fortunate!
LOL!!!
Nobody looks happy in that pic.
Um…and this rebel would be where, exactly?
the one who looks like she’s about to come through your screen and EAT YOUR SOUL
LOL!!!!
Glad I am not the only one who got that feeling!
lmao!
The family didn’t want the photo taken, but they had to do everything the blonde demon girl told them to….. or else……
LOL!! Definitely a Twilight Zone episode.
Supernatural!
She’s definitely daddy’s girl.
Children of the Corn???
A little more civil children of the corn.
I’m not gonna smile and you can’t make me!
I think she just got the email from Marney.
I don’t get it… a little girl is frowning…?
It’s a little strange/awkward that the little girl is standing…mmm
It’s no ordinary frown, it’s a look of complete, utter disgust that seems to go way beyond her years…
That little blonde girl just set me on fire …
LOL!!!
There something seriously Stephen King about these kids.
That’s the first thing I thought!
“I’m Talking Tina!”
Winner!
