1998: A Clown Odyssey

“I am in this photo on the right-hand side, dressed as the ‘sad’ clown. My dad (in the middle) used to do clown shows for kids’ birthday parties so he had this ‘wonderful’ idea to dress us all as clowns and take a family photo. The doll on my step-mom’s lap is to represent my unborn brother who was still ‘in the oven’ at the time.

The part I remember most about this was walking around all day dressed as a clown. We went to several different photo places before finally getting the pics done, if I remember correctly, but I don’t recall why. I just remember going to different places that day and everyone was staring at us!”

The Nightcap

“My husband has a glass or two of wine the nights before his days off. He always falls asleep halfway into glass number two. It never fails.”

Chuck E. Spanks

“Me on my birthday, December of 1982. Not sure what is more embarrassing, the home perm I got for my birthday or the fact a giant mouse is giving me birthday ‘spankings’.”

Hallelujah

“Photo of my cousins wedding. At first it looks like a normal wedding photo but please draw your attention to the priest in the background. This was completely unexpected.”

Just For Kicks

“This photo is of me and my family at my sister’s baby shower. We were trying to all get our hand on her belly to feel the baby kick, but there wasn’t enough space for all our hands.”
