Back when men wore their trousers high and the ladies liked it.
oh you got the best grandparents hahahaha
These two definately need their OWN website! They are hysterical and adorable at the same time! You are very blessed to have them, still! Be sure to let them know they are developing a huge following!
Gramps gives the location pretty clearly. “The Star Theatre in Hunt’s Point on Southern Boulevard.” That checks out as an old theater district in the Bronx.
oh this is amazing i laughed so hard when she said she went to the usher
I so love these two. Whoever is related to them is so very lucky. I loved listening to my Grandmothers stories. (Didn’t know my Grandfathers or I know I would have loved theirs too) So since I’m Grandparentless now, can yours adopt me??? LOL xo
Such cute little Grandparents! I could listen to them for hours…
And yes, they remind me of the interviews from “When Harry met Sally” too, but funnier, and more candid! 🙂
i love how he says “i paid 50 cents!” at the end.
hahaha, these two crack me up:)
I paid 50 cents! Lol, he is too cute. I love how she had him thrown out of the theater during the date but considered it a funny joke. He still seems a little irritated by it, but maybe he needed that comeuppance at the time.
OMG OMG OMG OMG this is so funny!
I could listen to them all day! AWESOME!
I absolutely LOVED this story! I want more stories from people talking about how they met their spouses. It’s AWESOME!
They are awesome! Love the old pic of them, too!
SO cute! Reminds me a little of how my grandma used to tell the story about her and my grandpa being late for their wedding reception because they had *waited* until they were married and grandpa couldn’t wait anymore. It was never one of those “EEEWWW!” stories because after 62 years of marriage, they were still so in love.
Do you grandparents realize how hilarious they are? They are great! She is so funny for getting him kicked out!
These too crack me up! Thanks. =)
Love the car in the background, too!
I adore your grandparents, they crack me up.
Quarter, quarter, quarter–hahahaha. Your grandparents’ videos are the best things on the site and I love the site.
They are absolutely WONDERFUL! 😀
She doesn’t take any smack off anybody – this woman is my hero! She stood firm on her principles and got her man!
I love how he slips in there “I probably married her because she was the only one I didn’t get!” Classic!
These two have got to be retiring in Boca!
Awesome! The old fella was definitely a stud! He probably declared that it was worth getting thrown out of the theater. But it makes me wonder what my punishment would have been for some of the things I did when I was “courting”….
I love them! I think my own familial gatherings would be so much nicer if I was related to them.
I LOVE your grandparents!!!!!! 🙂
Love these two! They are the Official Honorary Grandparents of the Interwebs.
The AFP Grandparents rock. I just love Grandpa’s smirk!
Thank you for sharing your grandparents it brings a little ray of joy into my day.
The most awkward thing about this whole video is I have that sweater with the buttons in black. I’m 38.
I LOVE the grin on grandpas face when grandma is talking about it. He is STILL proud of puttin the move on her 🙂
I especially love the satisfied look on Grampa’s face when she’s talking about his hand creeping down her chest. AWKWARD…and priceless.
That was my favorite too! He looks so satisfied with himself. They’re the best!
Wonderful video! Thanks for posting that. It made my day.
That is so awesome!!!
My grandparents are EXACTLY like this. In fact, I’m pretty sure they live in the same apartment complex as my grandparents’ in Lake Worth, FLA. In all seriousness, whose grandparents are these and where do they live? Do they know Irving and Sylvia Goldstein? I’m not joking. This is like the Twilight Zone.
Love, love, love the AFP grandparents!!! Keep the videos coming!!!
They are best…I love this!
alright, you go grandma!!
This is by far the funniest thing I’ve seen on this website!
I LOVE the grandparents! Please more videos of them!
reminds me of When Harry Met Sally
That is exactly what I thought!
I love your grandparents. XD
They make my day. I love that she got him kicked out, that’s just too funny. I also love the super high-waisted pants he’s wearing in the photo!
Thanks for continuing to share.
I’m pretty sure if you google “Zoot Suit” you will see this kind of clothing.
I adore these folks. I hope I am JUST LIKE THEM when I’m their age!
Good for you, Grandma….no nooky on the first date! You go, girl!
Can’t get enough of these two! And man, do I love that early picture. She’s smart in those slacks!
That photo is awesome! Grandpa has some style!!!
classic! just goes to show, holding out pays off!
Love their northern accents! 😉 Stories like this are priceless.
What accents?? I have no idea what you mean.. but yes they are wonderful. 🙂
I hear the accents too…lol. Adorable!
They are more northeastern accents than Northern. They are not from Minnesota. Being from the Midwest I know accents. They are definitely adorable though.
I think it’s a New York Jewish accent.
These two are DEFINITELY from the northeastern part of the country, almost certainly New York.
Bobby, you’re right on the mark!
LOL, I love them. They’re fantastic.
Fifty cents and no movie or nookie! I really enjoy listening to these two…it really makes my day, they are adorable!
Oh my goodness! They’re sooo cute!!!
