Wrapped Up For Christmas
“We were at a Christmas party when my daughter was five. We played a game where the kids had to decorate one of their parents like a Christmas Tree. This picture was the result of that game.”

Sad Candid Camera
“My brother was trying to get a good picture of me and my girls for the annual Christmas card. This was in between shots. Little one looks like she saw something she should not have.”

Santa Danger
“We dug this gem up recently. None of us realized how creepy the Santa was except our baby sister. We still aren’t sure where the camera actually was.”

Ant Man
“This portrait was taken at my family’s 2010 Christmas celebration, when we gathered from all over the USA. The guy in the ant costume is my husband. Respecting the industriousness and work ethic of the European Wood Ant, he believes everyone should emulate ants for the forthcoming year. He is the only person I know who celebrates this way.”

Guess Who’s The Stepson
“This is a 1987 Christmas morning aftermath with me, my 6-month-old son Nathan, my 12-year-old son Justin and my 17-year-old stepson Damond. Damond looks thrilled with his present of a new Heater/Fan.”

Itchy On Christmas
“This is a photo of my cousin and I wearing the horrible cat sweaters our Grandma knit us every Christmas. You can see the enthusiasm radiating from our faces when we were forced to model them for the rest of the family. If an angry cat head sweater doesn’t say Merry Christmas, I don’t know what does.”

Grandpa’s Package
“Everyone was shocked that Christmas morning when we unwrapped this picture of my Dad. But now, when I open the Christmas decorations every year, it cracks me up when I see it. It might look a little odd sitting on the mantle next to Baby Jesus, and the grandkids might groan, but it brings me joy.”

Side Eyes
“This was a photo from the 1970s of my parents, aunts, uncles, and little sister. All wearing flannel, all looking off to the side except for one of us.”

Suburban Cowboy
“My son became a cowboy over the summer, with a feather boa hat. I love that his loose tooth he wouldn’t let me pull was just hanging for his school picture.”

The Questionable Headband
“My mother’s story is all I have to go by on this one. She claims to have been blindsided by a small, local modeling agency photo shoot with their own idea of props to benefit my budding modeling career. Needless to say this was my first and last photo shoot.”
