The Ensemble
“This is my kindergarten picture, in 1980. Nothing went right. My city scene polyester shirt is backwards and inside out. The necklace under the shirt, the bruised chin, bloody nose and two silver front teeth go well with the long shag haircut.”

My sister’s moment of euphoria, getting exactly what she had hoped for for Christmas.”

Dog Days of Christmas
“Nothing says Christmas like four kids wearing red, white and blue matching outfits, complete with berets, gathered around the family dog!”

Christmas Recreation
“The original photo has been a favorite of family and friends since it was our family Christmas card 1999. Different city, different home, but we think we got pretty close.”

Fuzzy Logic
“I wanted this to look sweet, with my husband and I being a little blurry, and the kids looking on. The photographer snapped a lot of pictures and of course the kids were disgusted in all of them. This was by far the best one!”

Sinking Feeling
“This is my daughter when she was almost 2 years old. Somehow she had managed to climb into her play kitchen sink. She was then unable to climb back out. Of course we had to take a picture before helping her out! We still have no idea how she managed to get in there!”

Bunny Hop
“This was me around 3 years old, 1978-ish. For some reason our dancing school thought that dressing up girls as Playboy Bunnies and having them dance to ‘Shake Your Booty’ was perfectly acceptable.”

Ashes To Ashes
“Nobody wanted to tell Grandma her dish with ‘slots for spoons’ was really an ashtray.”

Beach Possession
“While at the beach with my family, I asked my kids to make funny faces with their Grandma, clicked the picture and we continued on with our fun day. When I got home and downloaded the pictures imagine my surprise when I realized my 8 year old son very well may be a demon. His red hair, pale face, crazy rolled eyes, and lost teeth made for less ‘funny’ and more like ‘terrifying.'”
