Sabotage

“Mom and Dad are proud of their family, but the little guy is tired of taking pictures.”

A Fail Is Born

“We were obviously failing at Pinterest before Pinterest was even around. This picture is from 1989 and unfortunately seems to depict me, the oldest daughter, ‘birthing’ half the family while our mom is still making her way to the top of the steps.  We have no recollection of who took this picture or what look we were really going for, but obviously no photographer could salvage this ‘pose,’ and no inspiration is a good inspiration when it turns out like this.

Our family refers to our childhood favorites like TV shows and movies ‘PFFs,’ or Privett Family Faves, so it’s only right that this be called a Privett Family Fail.”

Busted Santa

“My dad took this photo with his ex-wife and stepdaughter, thinking it would be funny and cute to showcase a naughty Santa getting arrested. I don’t think he realized though, just how naughty it seemed when he sent it off as a greeting card to family and friends.”

The Daily Heart Attack

“In our Christmas cards, I try to capture the essence of raising two boys. Here’s 2016.”

Krampus

“This year a local costume shop was offering Krampus photos if you bring your own camera. Not much advertising, so no line when we arrived, just a guy in a suit and this lovely setup. My son is 5 and decided he wasn’t into taking a photo — no surprise — so he just look bummed out the whole time. Works for me.”

The Snowman Is Packing

“My parents went to an ugly sweater party tonight, and my mom decided to get a little creative with my dad’s ugly sweater. I was on the phone with her while they were getting ready and she kept yelling at my Dad to be careful with the snowman’s penis.”

Here’s the closeup you knew you wanted:

Side Eyes

“This was a photo from the 1970s of my parents, aunts, uncles, and little sister. All wearing flannel, all looking off to the side except for one of us.”
