The Motel 5

“My Nana won a radio contest for a family portrait. The session ended up being held in a motel & Nana thought it would be a good idea to wear a strapless dress. Turns out that it looked she had no clothes and the girl in her lap (my aunt) has a devilish smile.”

Side Eye

“Over 60 years ago, my parents had a picture done professionally of my two older sisters and me. This was one of the ‘proofs’ they received. My two older sisters have now passed. I showed this to a friend who sent me one of your cards and suggested I send this to you. My middle sister had no idea why she had the ‘sideways’ eyes, but it has brought a lot of humor to our family for many years.”

Prairie Home Companions

“This is me when I was 2 1/2 yrs old and my sister was 5 yrs old. Our last name is really the Waltons and we loved to watch Little House on the Prairie as a family. Mom loved to sew and make matching outfits. This one by far was the most eye catching with the matching bonnets with the dresses.”
