On Thin Ice

“When I was in middle school, I wanted to take ice skating lessons. My mom, who was always very competitive, decided to sign up too.  This photo was taken the day we had our big performance and mom, of course, was better than I was.”

Soap Opera

“This photo was taken as I was finishing my 1/2 marathon. The entire race it rained and apparently my pants didn’t have all the laundry soap washed out completely – so they made soap suds the entire race. Very awkward to say the least.”

Bass Bros

“This was my 6 Year Old T-Ball picture. Our sponsor was “Bass Bros.” but as you can see…the B got covered up.”

Take Me Out To The Ballgame

“We were in Boston and all I wanted was a NICE picture of me with my kids in front of this statue at Fenway. Instead, I got this.”

Oh Buck

“This is my brother’s rec league basketball picture circa 1990. The actual team name as you might have deduced was the ‘Bucks’. Lucky for us there was a fortuitous fold in the shirt that gives us our accidental master piece. On a little side note, this picture in a larger form (8×10 I think) was proudly displayed on a wall in my Grandmothers house for years. She never understood why people always laughed at this picture. Needless to say she didn’t have an eye for details.”
