Big Day
“I had been in labor for 28 hours when our son finally was born. I had never been more tired in my life, but to my surprise, the only one not sleeping in our hospital room was me!”

The Cowboy Missionary
“My uncle Matt (on the right) moved from California to Montana to do missionary work. Guess he took to the cowboy lifestyle.”

F Is For Family
“Boston in the early 80s. My cousin is in the Mr. Nonsense shirt, and living up to that name. My aunt has a very original ‘necklace.’ My brother was apparently trapped inside and trying to get in on the photo action. And Mom was having none of it.”

Celebrity Doppelgangers
Most of us resemble at least one celebrity. For some, the likeness is so striking it prompts complete strangers to stop us on the street or in the grocery store and say, “You look just like Treat Williams!” (It’s even better when you’re not a fan of your celebrity.) But the people in this gallery go way past resemblance, to the point where they look like they could be the star’s clone. Until we get proof that celebrities can clone themselves, we’ll just have to accept that sometimes genes are weird and you wind up looking a lot like a total stranger.
Check out these photos of celebrity doppelgangers, (and a few people who resemble fictional characters.)

Sunday Funday
“This was taken for the church directory. I not happy that I’m wearing a dress, and my little sister was busy picking her nose, and little brother was just plain not a happy camper.”

Good Vibrations
“My fiancé was going through a box of family photos when he spotted this one from 1972. It’s his grandfather taking a nap. With a little closer look we noticed his Nana’s ‘personal massager’ on the nightstand!”

The Unflattering
“This picture is of me and my little sister on Easter in 2004. Evidently, my mother found it cute to dress me as if I were still 4-years-old. When a girl like me has hair like that, plus huge glasses, braces, a tiny headband and a frilly dress, it doesn’t work. My dad then honed in on his photo editing skills and gave us a very appropriate backdrop. All I can say is, ‘WTF?!'”

The Cut-Up
“A hot summer backyard photo. Why my dad is shirtless, I don’t know. Why by sister has curlers, I don’t know. Why am I cross-eyed? It was before the operation.”

My Friend The Druid
“I was having my senior photos taken and decided that I wanted something different than everyone else. Something that was fun and wasn’t so cookie-cutter. My friend, who was killing some time with me, got a Druid’s cloak from the trunk of my car, (Who didn’t have one of those in their car? It was the 90’s after all), and lurked around in the background.
I dunno, I kind of like it.”
