The Kill Scene

“Mom and Dad were world travelers and the house was filled with odd and beautiful pieces of art. For my wedding day photos, the photographer cleared an area of the living room, but kept one small table and statue in view.  The statue is a polar bear killing a seal. He went with ‘odd’ instead of ‘beautiful’.”

Photoshop Fun With Uncle Steve

“Uncle Steve was having fun with photo editing and sent these out to our family. I’m in the pot on the back burner on the right. And please note the detached arms flailing in the rear pot.”

Prom Dad

“My dad had a medical procedure the day of my prom and was out of his mind on pain killers when my mom insisted that I pose with him before prom.  I like to think he would’ve put down the hose for the pic if he’d been in his right mind, but in all honesty it could’ve gone either way.  He has no memory of taking this photo.”

Kitestar

“That’s me in the background unsuccessfully trying to get a kite to stay airborne. Photo was taken by a long-time friend who finds it an effective blackmail tool.”

Cabbages Of Our Lives

“This was my Senior Picture and my mom thought it would be a great idea to pose with some of my Cabbage Patch collection of dolls. For some reason, I decided to go with the SULTRY look. The rest is history as you can see!!!”

Jesse’s Protest

“My Mom bought a family portrait for a school fundraiser.  My little brother, Jesse, refused to cooperate, so finally my Mom told him he could just turn around.  Sixteen-year-old me is in the tie-dye, wishing this was not my family.”
